"Starting university is an exciting but scary experience. When I started in 2019, I didn’t know how or if I would be able to find a group of people I could really connect with. Luckily, I found my home in Alpha Phi. I was instantly swept up in the loving and supportive arms of my fellow sisters. Over the last 5 years, I have been able to achieve and experience more than I ever thought I could because of Alpha Phi. I was able to raise my GPA due to the academic support and mentoring I received, thus landing me an amazing school grant. I was privileged enough to travel to Pittsburgh, Denver, and soon Palm Springs to collaborate with all of the amazing chapters across North America about leadership, philanthropy, and simply women supporting women. I have learned an immense amount of leadership, problem-solving, and social skills that aid me not only in our chapter but in my career, school, and programs. I have said it a million times, and I will say it a million more times: I would not be graduating if it weren’t for Alpha Phi. Joining this group of like-minded, academically focused, funny, and caring individuals was the best decision I ever made for my future, my career, and myself. I have the utmost respect and gratefulness for this amazing organization and am so honored to be able to lead and serve this unique and beautiful group of women. If you are thinking about joining our little "phamily," I hope you come to realize that you always have a home in Alpha Phi."
